Learning French and getting translations

You must learn French if you are coming to live in France.
It is possible to live in France without French. However, this will leave you isolated and can be an enormous restriction on your life.
For some people, it comes quickly; for others, it is a hard slog; but for both, it is rewarding.
And one day, you’ll answer the phone, have a conversation in French and hang up, only to realise that you understood everything and didn’t fumble.
